Welcome to northeasttravelguides.com. For the past 11 years, The Evening Tribune in Hornell, NY has published the official North East Travel Guide. We now publish three guides: I-86, Rte- 15 & Rte -6.
I-86: Approximately 65,000 copies are placed at 98 distribution points which range from Orange County (just north of New York City) in the east to Lake Erie in the west. Distributors include NYS rest areas (10 in all), state parks, visitors and tourism bureaus, information centers, chambers of commerce, as well as truck stops, hotels, motels, restaurants, service stations, advertisers and others along the way. We will continue to grow distribution along I-86 to make it easy to find a guide and lead you to some of the best sites and sounds NYS has to offer.
RT-15: Approximately 50,000 copies are placed at 94 and growing distribution points, which range from Painted Post, NY to Frederick, MD. Distribution points include welcome centers and tourism bureaus, information centers, chambers of commerce, as well as truck stops, hotels, motels, restaurants, self-service stations, and others along the way from NY to Maryland.
RT-6: Approximately 50,000 copies are placed at 90 and growing distribution points, found along the Grand Old Road from Erie, PA. to Putnam County, NY, just north of New York City. Distribution points include welcome centers and tourism bureaus, information centers, chambers of commerce, as well as truck stops, hotels, motels, restaurants, self-service stations, and others along the way as you travel through Pennsylvania.
